CargoWise in Claude, ChatGPT and MCP clients
The read-only MCP pilot retrieves known jobs, source costing and access scope. Conversations happen in your AI client. Set up and revoke access in CargoMode Settings.
- Ask your administrator to enable MCP and assign an active CargoWise connection.
- Open Settings → MCP connections for your URL and client-specific instructions.
- Sign in, review the company and environment, then approve the requested read permissions. Costing access is optional.
- Check data health and validate one known job before using the results for reporting.
Company-wide access only in this release. No continuous monitoring, complete inventory or write-back.

Our AI achieves 95%+ accuracy on standard shipping documents. The platform flags uncertain fields for manual review, so you never push incorrect data to CargoWise.
What file formats do you support?
PDF (including scanned documents), PNG, JPG, and TIFF. We handle both digital PDFs and image-based/scanned documents automatically.
How long does processing take?
Most single documents process in under 30 seconds. Complete multi-document bookings (B/L + Invoice + Packing List) typically take 5-7 minutes total.
Can I process multiple documents at once?
Yes! Batch upload entire weeks of shipments. Our system automatically matches documents by container number and groups them appropriately.
What CargoWise versions are supported?
We support CargoWise One (all current versions) via eAdaptor XML API. Both cloud and on-premise deployments work seamlessly.
