  • Shipping documents you upload (Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, etc.)
  • CargoWise job data when you use our integration

  • How you use our platform (pages visited, features used)

How We Use Your Data

We use your information solely to:

  • Provide our freight forwarding automation services
  • Process your shipping documents and extract relevant data
  • Integrate with CargoWise and carrier systems when you request it
  • Send you essential service updates and support communications
  • Improve our platform algorithms and accuracy (using anonymised, aggregated data only)
  • Comply with shipping and customs regulations

System Improvement: We may use anonymised, aggregated data patterns to improve our OCR accuracy and document processing algorithms. This means we learn from document structures and data patterns without accessing your specific business information, customer names, or commercially sensitive details.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your data to any third parties, ever.

The only exceptions are:

  • You explicitly direct us to (e.g., when you choose to send data to your CargoWise system or carrier APIs)
  • Legal compliance (when legally required by courts, customs authorities, or regulatory bodies)
  • Essential service providers (hosting infrastructure, payment processing) who are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and data processing agreements

Important: Your shipping data, documents, and business information remain strictly confidential. We never share customer data between accounts, never sell data to third parties, and never use your data for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data Security

We protect your data with:

  • Secure cloud hosting on trusted platforms
  • Regular security audits and updates
  • Limited access controls for our team

  • Backups: Automatically deleted after 90 days
